Surfers Against Sewage
Since 1990,Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) has been campaigning to improve the quality of the nation’s coastline so it becomes cleaner and safer for everyone to use. SAS’s campaigns have helped secure some dramatic improvements, notably the investment in improved sewage treatment technologies, which have helped cleaned up many raw coastal sewage discharges and as a result made the coast a more attractive place to visit.
